Attention To Details Begins with Breakfast

Choose to stay with us near Downtown Seattle, and you’ll discover that breakfast is a special meal here at our Washington state B&B, where we prepare dishes that you would most likely not prepare for yourself at home. Included with your accommodations, we serve a gourmet breakfast each morning, garnished with herbs and edible flowers from the garden because “presentation is just as important as the meal itself.”

Breakfast is served in our cozy dining area offering with views of the garden through the French doors. During warmer weather, breakfast can be served in the garden patio, amongst pots of colorful flowers.

Our gourmet breakfast consists of a selection of fruit juices, assorted fresh fruits that change daily, hot entree, breakfast meat (optional), yummy baked goods, and coffee, of course, after all you are in Seattle.

Our menus change with the seasons… during the summer months we incorporate locally grown fruits along with berries from our garden including strawberries in June, raspberries in July, and blueberries and marionberries in August. The berries are a great addition to our fruit plates or fruit cups, but we often incorporate the berries into fresh fruit pie or cobblers for you to enjoy in the evening with a cup of coffee or tea. In the fall and winter months locally grown pears, apples, and cranberries are turned into such specialties as Apple Oatmeal Waffles, Pear Coffee Cake, Cranberry Scones, or Fall Fruit Compote.

We alternate our breakfast entrees between savory and sweet, so you can enjoy a variety of flavors during your stay. Savory favorites might include Green Chili Soufflé with Polish Sausage, Watermelon with Fruit Salsa and Moist Bran Muffins, or Smoked Salmon Quiche with a Fresh Fruit Platter and Blueberry Scones. Sweet specialties might include Dutch Baby Pancakes with Fresh Berries from the garden, drizzled with homemade Raspberry Jam; Breakfast Link Sausage and Fruit Cup or Apple Oatmeal Waffles with homemade Buttermilk Syrup; Apple and Rosemary Sausage Patties and Chunky Applesauce.

We also accommodate early departures with a delectable breakfast to go, which consists of fresh fruit, dried fruits & nuts, and homemade muffins.
Fresh-baked cookies await your return to the B&B from the day’s activities.

Due to health and insurance regulations the kitchen is not available for guest use.
