Garden Fresh Rhubarb Custard Pie


Nothings better then freshly picked fruit and vegetables from the garden. Today I harvested some rhubarb to make a Rhubarb Custard Pie. It’s an easy fruit to grow, needs little attention and it’s a delight to have something fresh from the gardening late April or early May.

Tonight our guests will enjoy a sweet but a little tart slice of pie made just for them and made a slice or two for us too!
