Garden Fresh Rhubarb Custard Pie

 

Nothings better then freshly picked fruit and vegetables from the garden. Today I harvested some rhubarb to make a Rhubarb Custard Pie. It’s an easy fruit to grow, needs little attention and always a delight to have something fresh from the garden in late April or early May.

Tonight our guests will enjoy sweet, but a little tart, slice of pie made just for them and maybe a slice or two for us too!
